[CNA] Implementation of anti-corruption legal framework and judicial reform discussed by the Minister of Justice with the SJC

The implementation of the legal framework against corruption and the reform of the judiciary were the focus of a meeting between the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stephis Drakos, and the President and members of the Association of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, according to an announcement by the Ministry.

As mentioned, the Minister briefed the representatives of the ACA on the course of implementation so far of the three anti-corruption bills approved by the Parliament in the previous period, while she also noted that the contribution of the Association in this effort will be decisive due to the participation of the President of the Association in the advisory council that will determine the candidate members of the Anti-Corruption Authority.

On the part of the ACPC, Director General Kyriakos Iordanou welcomed the creation of the necessary legal framework to fight corruption
