The immediate commencement of consultations between the Ministries of Interior of Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, at a technical level, for the conclusion of agreements on a number of issues within their respective areas of responsibility, Minister of Interior Nikos Nouris and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, agreed on a series of consultations on a number of issues related to their respective fields of competence, which took place following the recent visit of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, to Riyadh.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the meeting highlighted the friendly relations between the two countries and the intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation on issues within the competence of the two ministries.
