[CNA] High morbidity burden with COVID-19 in the community, especially in younger age groups, based on National Report

[/ATTACH][BR] The burden of morbidity with COVID-19 in the community is high, particularly in the younger age groups, however, the moving average of diagnoses appears to be receding shortly after the new increase was observed, according to National Report on coronavirus disease up to 14 February.

By 14 February 2022, 292,962 cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in the Republic of Cyprus, with 810 deaths due to COVID-19 (COVID-19 mortality: 0.3%). The cumulative 14-day incidence of COVID-19 (14-day diagnosed cases per 100,000 population) is 4,056.1.

In the last 14 days (1 - 14 February), 36,018 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded. The median age of COVID-19 cases was 31 years (Interquartile range: 13-44 years), 52% in women and 48% in men -
