The online meeting of representatives of members of the International Organization of Pensioners of the World Trade Union Federation (WFTU) on 26 January dealt with the problems of pensioners worldwide and its action.
According to a statement of the ESYSY, the meeting through the interventions stressed the need to strengthen the struggle of pensioners to confront the neoliberal austerity policies that particularly affect their right to a decent living for the elderly. The meeting was chaired by the President of International Demos Koumpouris who is President of the Federation of Pensioners of Greece.
