In a statement, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth expresses its deepest sorrow for the untimely loss of the Director of Secondary Education George Iosifidis.
"The Lanitio Secondary School, with which he was particularly associated, but also education in general, is losing a qualified and gifted principal, who distinguished himself for his enthusiasm and dedication to the public school, students and the educational world. Equally valuable has been the contribution of George Iosifidis from his position as President of the Association of Greek Directors of Secondary Education in Cyprus," he adds.
