The coronavirus pandemic continues to affect global arrivals. The figures may be an improvement compared to 2020, but tourism is far from fully recovering, with World Tourism Organization figures showing a 71% drop in arrivals for 2021 compared to 2019.
The biggest loss of tourists in absolute terms is in the US.
