The Ministry of Labour, informs that, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on the Operation of Shops and the Conditions of Employment of Employees, all general stores will have to observe the Christmas opening hours (01.12.2021 - 31.12.2021) and that on 25 and 26 December 2021, as well as on 1, 2 and 6 January 2022, general stores will have to remain closed, since the above days are considered public holidays for general stores.
The Ministry of Labour clarifies that according to the law, general stores may remain open daily until 8:00 pm, except on Christmas Eve (24 December 2021) and New Year's Eve (31 December 2021) when they may remain open until 6:00 pm.
Finally, with regard to the employees of the Special Shops, who will work on the above holidays, they will have to make allowances
