Further analysis by the Institute of Neurology and Genetics will be carried out on the samples taken from AEK Athens players to determine whether there were irregularities in the testing procedure or violation of health protocols.
In conclusion, the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandela, has instructed the Director General of the Ministry, Dr Christina Giannakis, to conduct a thorough investigation regarding the case of the investigation of samples taken from AEK players.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the samples have been sent to the Institute of Neurology and Genetics as a COVID-19 reference laboratory for further analysis, in order to determine whether there were any irregularities in the testing procedure or violation of health protocols.
