The French Cypriot school "is a shining example of the very close relationship between Cyprus and France", Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou said in a statement during his visit to the French Cypriot school today, accompanied by French Ambassador to Cyprus Salina Grenette-Catalano.
"Within this school, tomorrow's citizens are transformed, either Greek Cypriots or children of other origins, who, apart from the Greek and French languages, are European citizens, of the Europe of multilingualism," he noted.
Next year, he said, the school will celebrate its tenth anniversary and "together with the Ambassador of France and friend Salina Grenette-Catalano, I am pleased to visit the school to congratulate its management and administration, he added.
