Fair access for all children to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects is at the heart of the Fairness In Teaching (FIT) project, in which Frederick University is participating with four other institutions in Luxembourg, Italy and France.
A statement from Frederick University states that "the aim of the project is to provide the necessary educational materials needed by teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools to promote diversity in their classrooms and offer equal opportunities to all children, regardless of gender and background, children with fewer opportunities, refugee children, migrant children, etc."
