The Limassol District Court convicted two companies and two Directors for violations of the Legislation on Occupational Safety and Health in 2021.
In a statement today, the Labour Inspection Department of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance said that within the framework of its competence, it promoted the criminal prosecution of employers and directors of companies, who violated the provisions of the Legislation, which related to occupational safety and health issues.
According to the Labour Inspection Department, as a result of these prosecutions, the Limassol District Court sentenced two companies and two directors in 2021.
