A coordinated operation to police the community of Chloraka took place yesterday from 5pm until midnight, with the participation of members of the Paphos Police Department, the Paphos OPE, the YKAN (Paphos Cell) and the Airport Security Directorate (ASA).
According to a spokesperson for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, during the operation, checks were carried out on houses, apartment complexes, vehicles and persons, while four persons were arrested under court warrants for allegedly violating the relevant decree issued by the Minister of Interior.
The four persons aged 19 years, 21 years, 31 years, and 25 years who were found in a particular apartment complex were charged in writing and are expected to be summoned before the court at a later stage.
