The UN Secretary General's Special Representative for Cyprus, Colin Stewart, met this morning with Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides.
According to CNA, the aim of the meeting was to discuss the situation in the Cyprus problem and the efforts to improve the climate between the two sides, with the aim of breaking the current deadlock and restarting the process for the resolution of the problem, based on the UN Security Council resolution on the renewal of the mandate of the UN peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) until 31 July 2022.
