The Pancyprian Medical Association reiterated its position on Monday on the issue of the Auditor General's report on the General Health Insurance Fund, referring to the "misinterpretation" of the report by the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO).
In a statement today, PIS specifically states that "if the conclusion of the representatives of the OAI from the report of the auditor's office is solely the continuous reduction of reimbursements of health care providers, then the problem with the General Health System is even bigger."
He reiterates that he highlighted "the inadequacy of the global budget" before its implementation, in relation to the proposed coverages, to note that his members were labeled "opponents" of the System.
