The team of the German Oncology Center led by Dr. Konstantinos Zamboglou and Dr. Joseph Strouthos won an important distinction at the recent 13th European Congress of Urological Oncology, held in Athens.
According to an announcement, the GOK was awarded the first prize for "the international multicentre study led by the GOK team, conducted in collaboration between Cyprus and Australia, Italy, Germany and Switzerland, on the PSMA PET/CT tests for prostate cancer and radiotherapy".
It is noted that more than 100 international papers/studies were presented during the conference, which was held last November.
