The Fire Service has responded to 20 incidents for assistance so far, due to the strong winds blowing in various areas of Cyprus.
A post by Fire Service spokesman Andreas Kettis on social media said that the Service responded to 17 incidents in Nicosia district, 3 in Limassol and 1 in Larnaca.
The incidents involved falling and moving trees, in 2 cases on parked vehicles without occupants, moving billboards, solar water heaters as well as structures made out of cheap materials.
