The Fire Service has been on standby since the early hours of Friday morning, due to the severe weather phenomena that are occurring throughout Cyprus.
In a statement, the Fire Service said that from 06:00 on 10 March 2022 until this moment, it responded to 22 calls for assistance, 3 fires, 18 special services, of which 15 were related to natural disasters and 1 false call.
Specifically, the Fire Department responded to a total of 15 calls, which were related to severe weather events, mainly due to high winds in various areas.
