A car accident occurred on Monday afternoon in Lakatamia.
According to the Fire Department, at 6:05 p.m. Monday the department received a call of a car accident on Academy Street in Lakatamia.
Specifically, a vehicle veered off course and overturned in the linear park.
Members of the Police and Fire Department from the Fire Station of Lakatamia with a team and a rescue vehicle and a fire truck responded to the incident.
According to the Fire Service, rescue tools were used to extricate two people and after being placed on an immobilization board, they were handed over to ambulances for transport to the Nicosia Hospital T.A.E.P.
