The Famagusta District Court today fined a 30-year-old man a fine of 750 euros and 5 penalty points, after finding him guilty by his own admission in a case of driving under the influence of alcohol.
As Steve Theodoulou, spokesman for the Famagusta Police Directorate, told CNA, "at around 06.20 on the morning of Thursday 17 March, a 30-year-old man, a resident of Larnaca, while driving his vehicle on Protaras - Kavo Greko Avenue in Paralimni, lost control of his car at some point in the road, causing it to overturn and come to a halt off the road."
