A 56-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday by a fire caused by an explosion of a gas cylinder , while cooking in the kitchen of his apartment in Paphos.
According to a spokesman for the Paphos Police Directorate, at 19:10 on Saturday night, information was received about a fire in an apartment. Members of the Fire Service and Paphos Police Directorate went to the scene and upon further examination it was found that the fire broke out while the occupant of the apartment was busy preparing food.
