[CNA] Europa League: Olympiacos defeat by Atalanta 2-1, goes for the upset in Faliro

Olympiacos Piraeus suffered a 2-1 loss to Atalanta in Bergamo last night for the first game of the Europa League playoff phase.

Now, the qualification will be decided in the second leg of the "C. Karaiskakis" on Thursday, February 24.

The Reds surprised the hosts in the first half as they took a 1-0 lead at the 16th minute through Ticinho.

In the second half, however, the Italians scored two goals in a three-minute span, with Jimsiti scoring on 61 and 63 minutes, to turn the game around and take the lead.
