The Chamber of Fine Arts (E.KA.TE) sent a letter to the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Prodromos Prodromou in which it raises the issue of how the Committee for the Venice Biennale operates, the control of the Committee and the validity of the procedure and asks for immediate discussion and consultation. In another communication, EKATE also refers to the creation of a Deputy Ministry of Culture and submits suggestions.
In its letter to the Ministry of Culture, which it makes public, EKATE expresses concern about the institution of the Venice Biennale, following the many and repeated complaints which it says it receives and which raise issues concerning artists' rights.
