The 28-year-old man, who had escaped from police custody in early February and was found on Saturday in Paphos, was placed under eight-day detention.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, the 28-year-old appeared before the Pafos District Court on Sunday under draconian security measures. The Court accepted the Police's request for the suspect's eight-day detention.
