A total of six people and two establishments were reported in the last 24 hours as part of checks for compliance with the orders during the spread of Covid-19.
According to a spokesman for the Police Communication Branch, 2,080 checks were carried out nationwide.
Specifically, in Nicosia, 360 checks were made without a complaint, while in Limassol, 212 checks were made and one citizen's complaint was made.
Checks were also carried out without complaints in Larnaca, where 488 checks were carried out.
In Paphos 225 checks were carried out and 5 persons and 2 owners of premises were complained about.
In the district of Famagusta 449 checks were carried out without complaints, while in the area of Morphou 160 checks were carried out without complaints.
The Traffic Police carried out 154 checks and the Port and Maritime Police 32, but no complaints were made.
