The Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), responsible for lending operations in Cyprus, Liliana Pavlova, visited the University of Cyprus on Thursday to review the EIB's activities and funded projects on campus and to discuss with students of the academic institution their expectations for the future.
The EIB and the University of Cyprus sealed their cooperation with the support and guarantee of the State for the development and expansion of the University Campus in 2014, during a difficult period for the Cypriot economy, with total funding amounting to €162 million.
The projects funded include the Information Centre - Library "Stelios Ioannou", the photovoltaic park "Apollo", the building facilities
