[CNA] Economic sentiment improves in February, according to the Economic Sentiment Survey

An improvement in the economic climate in Cyprus in February 2022, according to the Economic Sentiment Survey of the University of Cyprus.

According to the findings of the survey, in February the Economic Sentiment Index (ESI) increased by 3.5 points compared to January 2022.

The rise in the IIP, according to the Economic Research Centre, was driven by a significant strengthening of business sentiment in services and improvements in economic confidence in retail trade and manufacturing.
