[/ATTACH][BR] Cryptocurrencies are used to avoid sanctions imposed on certain Russian individuals and the European Central Bank (ECB) has warned companies in this sector not to become "complicit" in this crime, ECB President Christine Lagarde said on Tuesday.
"We have taken steps to show clearly to all those who exchange, trade, offer services in relation to crypto assets that they are complicit in circumventing sanctions," Lagarde said during an online event.
