A 31-year-old driver involved in a traffic accident was found to have tested positive for alcohol and drugs.
According to the Press Spokesman and Head of Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, 31-year-old, under circumstances under investigation at some point on the road, entered the oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with another car driven by a 45-year-old man with his 19-year-old son as a passenger.
As a result of the collision, the 45-year-old driver was slightly injured and was taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Paphos General Hospital where he was given first aid and discharged.
