President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades chaired on Thursday, at the Presidential Palace, a wide-ranging meeting on the progress of the implementation of infrastructure projects for the import of liquefied natural gas and the delay in relation to the projected timetables.
During the meeting, ways to implement the project within the shortest timeframes were examined, Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos said in a written statement.
According to the Government Spokesman, the President of the Republic instructed the relevant services to proceed with the relevant consultations based on the general principle of protecting the public interest.
