Despite the positive performance, the Men's National Basketball Team was defeated by the Austrian National Team 86-77, in a game for the 3rd round of the EuroBasket 2025 first qualifying phase.
The National Team was led by Konstantinos Simitzis, who made his debut, scoring 20 points, 3 3-pointers, 1 assist and 1 rebound.
Austria came out strong on the court and scored 7 straight points by 3' for a 7-0 lead.
