First place for Cyprus in the international competition for the celebration of World Food Day with the theme "Our actions are our future - Better production, better nutrition, better environment and better life".
According to a statement by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, "the student, Leoni Bella Vassiliou, of Aradippou High School, won the 1st World Prize in this year's competition.
"The student, with the guidance and encouragement of her Home Economics teacher, managed to secure this commendable global award," the Ministry of Education and Science said.
