Cyprus residents' trips abroad increased by 239.7% in December 2021, reaching 61,010, compared to 17,958 in December 2020
Compared to December 2019, Cyprus residents' trips abroad decreased by 57.8%.
According to the Statistical Office, the main countries from which Cyprus residents returned in December 2021 were Greece with 35.1% and the United Kingdom with 17.5%.
The Statistical Service states that the data for December 2021 were obtained by processing the data from the "Cyprus Flight Pass" online platform, while noting that due to problems arising from the completion of the data by the passengers themselves, further analysis of the data was not possible.
