Instructions for opening a bank account at the Central Bank of Cyprus, where the public can deposit their contributions in support of the Ukrainian people, were given on Thursday by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, according to an announcement by the Office of the Citizens' Commissioner.
The Republic of Cyprus is also launching a campaign to collect humanitarian aid. In particular, the whole effort to collect dry food and send it to Ukraine is being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in constant communication with the Government of Ukraine.
