Cyprus participates for the seventh year this year in the 'Worldwide Endomarch' awareness chain with the slogan 'Let's Talk About It', and joins forces with 65 other countries around the world to inform and educate the public about the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, a statement said.
March has been designated as Endometriosis Awareness Month, and the colour identified with the condition is yellow.
As mentioned, in Cyprus one in ten women of reproductive age suffers from endometriosis, while around 200 million women worldwide struggle with the condition, which is blamed for infertility problems and often gives no visible symptoms.
