Cyprus is leading the way in building the link between the Middle East and Europe, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said today, following talks in Nicosia with his Cypriot counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides.
Prince Al Saud said that "Cyprus is an important partner for Saudi Arabia in the EU. We see Cyprus as really a bridge for our region in the EU, helping the EU to understand what is happening in the Middle East and helping to focus attention on all the opportunities that exist," stressing that "Cyprus is leading the way in building the interconnection between our region and Europe."
