[CNA] Cyprus issues €1 billion 10-year bond with 1% yield, €8 billion bids

The yield of the 10-year EMTN bond issued by the Republic of Cyprus in international markets was 1%, with the issue being oversold by almost eight times.

According to CNA, with this issue the Republic of Cyprus raised €1 billion, with offers amounting to €7.8 billion.

According to the same information, the initial guidance from the issue's advisers was for a yield of 75 basis points above the midswap, equivalent to around 1.10%, while demand seems to have pushed down the yield, which fell to 65 basis points above the midswap.
