[CNA] Cyprus is developing strategic alliances with partners such as the UAE, the President said at EXPO 2020

As part of our search for a future of security and prosperity, especially in our volatile region, Cyprus is strengthening its strategic alliances with partners such as the United Arab Emirates, based on shared values and a collective vision as well as on common interests, President Nicos Anastasiades said in his address during an event at EXPO 2020 in Dubai to mark Cyprus' National Day, which has a pavilion at the exhibition.

President Anastasiades said that it is his sincere belief that the excellent relations between Cyprus and the UAE will continue to prosper and become even stronger in the years to come, for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries as well as peace and stability in the region.
