[CNA] Cyprus' current account and investment position improve in the third quarter of this year

An improvement was recorded in Cyprus' current account balance and international investment position in the third quarter (T3) of 2021, while the external debt decreased, according to preliminary data released on Thursday by the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Cyprus.

According to preliminary balance of payments data for 2021 T3, Cyprus' current account balance recorded an improvement, with the deficit narrowing from €616.9 million in 2020 T3 to €144.7 million.
