[CNA] Cyprus Cup: APOEL and Ethnikos advance to the "4"

APOEL and Ethnikos Ahnas took a lead, albeit a small one, in the "4" of the Cyprus Cup in football, by beating Anorthosis and E.N. Paralimnios, respectively, in the first quarter-finals.

APOEL won 2-1 against the Famagusta team at the GSP. Esselink opened the scoring for APOEL in just the first minute, only for Anorthosis to equalize through Ampardzumian at 13`. Kvilitaya made it 2-1 for the hosts at 52`, which was the final score.

In the other match, Ethnikos Ahna beat E.N. Paralimniu 1-0. The goal was scored by Miha Duris in 54` with a penalty.

The second leg will be played on April 6.
