President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades received King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is on an official visit to Cyprus, at the Presidential Palace this afternoon.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace, a guard of honour paid tribute and the national anthems of Cyprus and Jordan were played.
The King of Jordan then laid a wreath at the statue of the National Lord Makarios III in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace.
