The Ministers of Defence of Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Haralambos Petrides and Mohammed Al Bowardi, discussed today in Abu Dhabi issues of defence interest and defined their next actions, based on the Memorandum of Cooperation and the bilateral defence cooperation programme 2021-22.
An official statement issued by the Ministry of Defence said that Petridis, who is accompanying the President of the Republic along with other officials during his visit to Dubai, had a series of meetings and contacts in Abu Dhabi today and in particular had a bilateral meeting and working lunch with Minister of Defence Mohammed Al Bowardi.
