[CNA] Cyprus and Saudi Arabia favour dialogue and diplomatic solutions to settle disputes

Cyprus and Saudi Arabia stressed, in relation to the crisis in Ukraine, the importance of settling disputes by peaceful means, giving priority to dialogue and diplomatic solutions, and making every effort to de-escalate and defuse the situation, restore security, stability and limit the negative consequences of this crisis.

A Joint Statement of Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, issued at the conclusion of the official visit of President Nicos Anastasiades to Riyadh, stated that the two sides reaffirmed their full support to all efforts aimed at de-escalating and resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomacy.
