Probably the largest humanitarian aid from Cyprus to a third country, began this morning to be collected in a warehouse of the Cyprus Ports Authority, opposite the port of Limassol, in order to be loaded onto a merchant ship, which will depart on Tuesday.
The whole effort will continue tomorrow, with the assistance of the National Guard, which has undertaken to transport Cyprus' humanitarian aid to the Port Authority's premises and it is an "unprecedented mobilization," ALC President Dr. Antonis Stylianou told CNA.
"The Cyprus Ports Authority is coordinating the management and stowage of these materials and we are really pleased to contribute to the delivery of this humanitarian aid to Ukraine," he said.
