[CNA] COVID-19 patient deaths are 864, cases are 321,419, clarifies the Ministry of Health

The total number of patients who died with the final cause of COVID-19 until 2 March 2022 is 864 and not 861 while the total number of cases until 28 February is 321,419 and not 322,516 as the sum on which yesterday's regular update was based, clarifies the Ministry of Health.

In a statement, the Ministry said that as part of the recording of data by the Health Monitoring Unit, it has proceeded to update the database it maintains on patient deaths, having recorded and verified all the data reported in previous months to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit.

Specifically, the 3 deaths reported out of time concern a woman, aged 60 years, who died on 13/04/2021, a woman, aged 87 years, who passed away on 15/04/2021 and a woman, aged 60 years
