[CNA] Coronavirus deaths continue to be recorded worldwide

New deaths amid record-breaking outbreaks have been reported by authorities in several Asian countries, while the loss of life due to coronavirus has also occurred in Europe.

In India, the Federal Ministry of Health announced today (Thursday) that 1,241 patients had succumbed to complications of COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours and 67,084 cases had been confirmed. The death toll from the pandemic of the new coronavirus in the Asian country of 1.35 billion officially stands at 506 520 deaths out of a total of 42.48 million infections. This is the fourth highest death toll and the second highest number of infections on the planet.

In South Korea, the Disease Control and Prevention Agency announced today that 54 had been confirmed as of midnight Wednesday.122 cases, a record number for the second consecutive day, while 20 patients succumbed due to epilepsy
