On the occasion of the World Day of Congenital and Congenital Heart Diseases, the Metropolis of Tamassos and Orini and the Association of Relatives and Friends of Children with Heart Disease announced their cooperation in order to support children with heart disease and their families.
As mentioned in a press conference, the priority of the cooperation is to provide funds for financial support for escorts of children going abroad for treatments.
The President of the Association Andreas Constantinou thanked Metropolitan Isaias for the cooperation and stressed, among other things, that 50 children from Cyprus go abroad for treatments per year, while another 50 children undergo treatments in Cyprus.
