[CNA] Construction materials prices jump 16.55% in January 2022, year-on-year

Construction materials prices jumped 16.55% in January 2022, compared to January 2021, according to data from the Statistical Service.

The Construction Materials Price Index for January 2022 stood at 121.17 points (based on 2015=100), an increase of 1.26%

Compared to the previous month (December 2021), the Construction Materials Price Index for January 2022 recorded an increase of 1.26% and stood at 121.17 points (based on 2015=100).

By main product category, year-on-year increases were recorded in January 2022 for metal products (26.10%), wood, insulation, chemical and plastic products (19.87%), electromechanical products (13.76%), mineral products (6.35%) and minerals (5.33%).
