Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Yannis Karousos referred to the holding of a conference on air connectivity, which is expected to take place in early April in Cyprus, during the proceedings of the Air Transport Summit held in Toulouse under the French Presidency of the EU.
As stated in a statement by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the main issues on the agenda of the summit were the resilience of aviation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the need to reduce the sector's carbon footprint.
