[CNA] Condemns actions that violate sovereignty and territorial integrity, President said on Ukrainian

Efforts are being made to find a way to attend the extraordinary meeting of the European Council on Thursday evening, President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades said, while referring to developments in Ukraine, he condemned the "actions that violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent country".

The President, who is in Dubai, said in remarks during his visit to the Dubai Expo that he is trying to find a way if possible to attend tonight's European Council meeting on Ukraine, "especially after this morning's developments".

President Anastasiades will be represented at the European Council by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
