In 23 complaints from citizens and 8 establishments, the Police proceeded with the implementation of measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
As a spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA, in the last 24 hours ending at 06:00 on Monday, the force carried out a total of 2,219 checks throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia 568 checks were carried out with 2 complaints against establishments, in Limassol 146 checks were carried out with 2 complaints against establishments and 5 citizens, in Larnaca 1 establishment and 2 citizens were reported after 612 checks, in Paphos 4 citizens were reported after 139 checks, in Famagusta 3 establishments and 6 citizens were reported after 395 checks, while in the Morphou area 178 checks were carried out without any complaints.
